One Tough Cookie...

So yesterday was a rough day....at least for this momma...

I was at work and normally get a phone call around 9:20 after Kevin drops the kids off for school....well my phone didn't ring until after 9:30....and it was my husband telling me that he had just dropped our daughter off in class...because she had quite a spill...

Apparently she was walking with her hands in her pocket because she was cold and tried to jump up on a curb....and missed it....and landed flat on her face on the concrete....she cried and bled...alot...and Kevin had all 4 kids by himself.  But because he is the BEST dad ever...he managed to get our bleeding daughter, 2 two year olds and our 1 year old (and 4 bags)into the church building...into the family bathroom to get her cleaned up.  Fortunately a woman walked in and helped Kevin with the bags and the boys :) 

After Kev got her cleaned up, he asked if she wanted to go home or stay at school...she chose school and her teachers said she was amazing...didn't complain once and played like a champ.  Basically she is one tough cookie....Love that girl :)



This was the picture I got from Kevin after he picked her up from school....this was SMALLER than it had been the 6 hours prior...hard to believe...that poor huge lip...

This was this morning...alot of swelling had gone down, however there is now a huge scab underneath and is bright red...almost like lipstick :)

I will say, she is definitely braver than I am :)
