Girl's Night Out....

So tonight I had the greatest opportunity to attend a worship service, just for girls :)

It was hosted at Life Church and although I was surrounded my women I did not know, with the exception of one friend, I felt as though I was surrounded by family...my faith family.

We began attending Life Church just a few weeks ago and I am truly enjoying it. Tonight just made it even better.....lots of yummy desserts and beautiful women giving their love and praise to Christ.

Tonight had 3 things that stuck out to me...

1) In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence" Ephesians 3:12
This made me feel so more much at ease in my relationship...I am truly new to reaching out to God and exploring my relationship...and it can be intimidating...so this comforted me.

2) Boldly ask God to use you

Our speaker tonight was amazing...Cindy Beall...wow...she made me laugh...but more importantly she made me think and open my heart. She talked about getting rid of your own agenda...and I feel like this is where I am at...asking God my purpose and direction that HE has for me...and I must boldly approach this and be ready to listen.

3) Sometimes the best ministry comes from misery

This was not a key talking point...but something Cindy said that stuck with me. She said that this was true for her...and I feel as though this is true for me. I have had things happen in the past that I feel as though I could use for the good of God and help others with what I learned.

I am excited to see the direction of where it takes me and my family! Another great part of the night....the boys getting to play with friends! They had a busy Thursday...Mother's Day out and THEN church!! They were in playtime mode. Even better, Kev and Austin got to take KK to dance and she was so excited that her daddy was going to be there.

Great Thursday night and I am looking forward to a playdate tomorrow!! Thank you (whoever you may be LOL) for listening...I want to use this blog to speak what is in my heart...tell goofy stories about my kids...explore design and decor in my home....and find a new community of people to reach out too.

Good night!!
