If you like to talk to tomatoes....

So we had a special little family day planned today....a couple of months ago when checking out the Veggie Tales website for movies and fun for the kiddos...I noticed on the side bar the sign that said "Veggie Tales LIVE" tour...so I clicked through and was excited to find tickets at a theatre about an hour and a half away :)  So we bought them and decided to surprise the kiddos.

Fast forward those long 8 weeks of not telling the kiddos...which was really...really...REALLY hard...we started our day with clothes out for everyone...

Bathtime to get all good and clean...

Time to load up!

and a brief car ride....and of course, Carter fell asleep :)
But we finally arrived at our destination...Ada, Oklahoma :)  We walked in and they were passing out stickers with Bob and Larry....and it all clicked for the kids...well, kinda...they knew we were at a theatre and they kinda were thinking we were seeing a Veggie Tales movie...but were excited to find out it was the LIVE show.

We, of course, got a couple of souvenirs

Got new t-shirts and Bob for Carter and Katelyn and Larry for Bryce and Austin.  Everyone was very happy with their new friend.  The three older kids are currently snuggling with their new friend in bed :)

They did a pretty good job during the show.  I actually think Austin had the best time.  He laughed and danced the entire time.  Carter was pumped for the popcorn and music...Katelyn did some dancing and Bryce sat on my laugh in awe.  It was ALOT of fun!

After the show we walked around for a little bit and then loaded back up to head home...but then mid drive we thought we should head to a park and enjoy the sun and the day.  So we stopped at a great park and let the kiddos run like crazy!

So pretty :)

Such a GREAT play area!

Austin met a girl...and followed her around :)

Brothers sliding :)

We had a great time today.  After the park, we decided we should end the night by going out to dinner.  Let me tell you what an amazing idea this was with 4 kiddos that had not had naps...I would've included pictures...but hey, who wants to see kiddos crying :)  It was kinda a disaster...and Kev and I took some serious deep breaths...but reminded ourselves that they are only kiddos....and then realized it is better to have a sense of humor about it than get mad.  Neither solve anything really...but laughing is way more fun :)

I hope everyone else enjoyed their Friday!!
