Once upon a time...

There was a precious princess party.....

Katelyn was recently invited to the best little princess party.  An old friend of mine has a daughter the same age as Katelyn and it is so much fun that we can get together and watch our girls play.

Her daughter's favorite princess is Ariel and so she was all dressed up as Ariel...we also had a Belle, Snow White, another sweet Ariel and Katelyn went as Cinderella.  They were all so cute walking around and fixing their hair and patting down their skirts to make sure they looked "just right".

About 15 minutes into the party, the doorbell rang and they all rushed to the door....and to everyone's surprise it was Ariel!  What a great Ariel she was....she was patient, kind and so great with each of the girls.  She entertained them the entire time and they were all so quiet and in awe.  If she asked a question, they would all answer with such enthusiam...if she asked them to do something, they would hop to it...if she told them to be wait...they were as patient as can be....basically I need to hire her as a nanny :)

Ariel presented them with a secret treasure chest filled with surprises...which they all guessed to be jewelry, candy, toys....they all were so excited to find out.  However, the birthday girl had to pass 3 princess tests to get the key and all the girls helped out.  They danced to Under the Sea and played with different hats and made funny faces.  They played follow the leader throughout the house and then they did one more test...but I think I was partaking in pizza and a cupcake...so I missed it :)

They ended up getting to pick 3 prizes from the chest...they were so excited!  They got their faces painted and even got to make their very own crowns.

It was such a fun time to see the girls enjoy every single moment.  It was also nice to have a little girl time with my sweet girl.  The 3 boys got to hang out with their Granny so they had a good time too.

When we were walking out...Katelyn looked at me and said that was the best party ever!  Of course...she says that when we leave Target :)  However, I am pretty sure she is sold on the idea that I will be making contact with Belle to make sure she is available for her ballet party....in November....she is such a little planner :)

So I blogged this on my phone...so all the pics are in a clump:). Sorry!!
